Lived in the Late Cretaceous Period around 70 to 72 million years ago.
In August of 1994, a 14-year-old boy named Wes Linster discovered the bones of a Bambiraptor buried on a ranch in Montana, Glacier National Park. His discovery prompted the excavation of the Bambiraptor. Because of the dinosaur’s small size, the Linsters’ called it “Bambi” which later gave it its name.

With almost bird-like features the Bambiraptor measured around 3’ (0.9 meters) in length, about 1’ foot tall (0.3 meters) and weighed around 7 lbs (3 kg).

Bambiraptor was an upright walking meat-eating dinosaur that often hunted small animals like birds, reptiles and other small dinosaurs.
